Obama & Biden cash in on gay marriage
Yesterday President Obama flip flopped on his stance on same sex marriage. I was thinking that this was a “jump the shark” moment when he did it, and sure enough, this morning, I see an article on The Drudge Report that says he raised a million dollars in 90 minutes.
As most of you probably know, Obama has has a hard time getting contributions to his re-election campaign. Democratic supporters are even backing away from him this time around. On top of that, the conservatives are sending loads of money to back the republican candidate. So Obama sees an opportunity to make some cash, but the contributor says “You’ve got to come out for gay marriage”. I think he’s desperate to get his campaign moving. So desperate that he is willing to take the chance of a backlash from his own constituents to put some cash in his war-chest. I could be wrong, but I don’t think that Barrack Obama has changed his mind on the issue of gay marriage. This has very little to do with gay marriage and everything to do with cold hard cash.
